The Diablo Flat Edge Sanding Sponge is a 4" x 2-1/2" x 1" foam-backed hand-sanding block with abrasive on every flat face. The flat-edge geometry reaches into inside corners, along straight edges, and across contoured surfaces that rounded sponges and orbital sander pads cannot.

The 220 grit (ultra fine) abrasive is for finish work - smoothing between coats of varnish, lacquer, and polyurethane, and final sanding for a smooth painted top coat.

Tip: Use 220 grit dry for between-coat scuffing on varnish, lacquer, and polyurethane. Wipe the surface with a tack cloth between sanding and recoating. For high-gloss top coats, step up to a 320 or finer grit sanding sheet.
