The Diablo Flat Edge Sanding Sponge is a 4" x 2-1/2" x 1" foam-backed hand-sanding block with abrasive on every flat face. The flat-edge geometry reaches into inside corners, along straight edges, and across contoured surfaces that rounded sponges and orbital sander pads cannot.

The 60 grit (medium) abrasive is built for general stock removal - leveling planed lumber, smoothing rough cut edges, blending sanded repairs, and surface prep before the first finish step.

Tip: 60 grit is a good starting grit for hand-sanding projects with visible saw or mill marks. Step up to 100 grit before the final pre-finish pass.
