Tip: Square-cut both pipe ends with a poly cutter, not a hacksaw - a clean square end seats fully against the barb shoulder for a leak-tight grip. Hand-tighten the blue nut firmly but skip the channel locks; over-torque crushes the captive seal and can crack the nylon.
