This Gardner Bender alligator clip is a multi-purpose connector for home, auto, and marine wiring. A toothed spring jaw grips wire ends, terminals, or component leads for temporary or working electrical connections, and the crimp barrel accepts 22-14 AWG hookup wire.

Tip: The barrel cover protects the crimp from accidental shorts at the wire end while leaving the jaw exposed for direct probing. Pair the red clip with the positive (+) lead and the black with the negative (-) to keep polarity consistent across a bench setup.
