This Gardner Bender alligator clip is a multi-purpose connector for home, auto, and marine wiring. A toothed spring jaw grips wire ends, terminals, or component leads for temporary or working electrical connections, and the crimp barrel accepts 22-14 AWG hookup wire.

Tip: The full insulator boot prevents accidental shorts when multiple clips rest against each other or bare metal. The 3A rating is for the boot - step up to barrel-insulated or non-insulated clips when working with higher currents or larger battery loads.
