This Gardner Bender alligator clip is a multi-purpose connector for home, auto, and marine wiring. A toothed spring jaw grips wire ends, terminals, or component leads for temporary or working electrical connections, and the crimp barrel accepts 22-14 AWG hookup wire.

Tip: Use bare clips for bench testing and multimeter probes where the wire won't touch nearby live conductors. Slide a piece of heat-shrink over the crimp barrel if the clip will rest inside a wiring harness or near metal.
