Madison Mill fluted dowel pins reinforce wood-to-wood joints in furniture, cabinetry, drawer boxes, picture frames, and shelf assemblies. The fluted grooves let glue spread around the pin and let trapped air escape from the bore, producing a tighter, stronger bond than smooth dowels. The 3/8-inch size is the workhorse for face-frame cabinets, drawer fronts, and chair rails. This bulk box of 500 pins is sized for production cabinet shops and high-volume furniture builders.

Tip: Drill the receiving hole with a 3/8" bit (same nominal diameter as the pin) roughly 1/16" deeper than half the pin length on each side. Apply PVA glue in the hole and on the pin, then clamp with even pressure until cured -- about 30 minutes for tack and 24 hours for full strength.
