PRO-PAD SANDING SPONGE - 100 GRITFoam-backed abrasive sanding sponge for hand-sanding wood, paint, metal, plastic, and drywall. The flexible foam core lets the pad conform to flat faces, edges, and shallow contours, so a single pad can move between cabinet faces, window casing, trim profiles, drywall patches, and metal repair. Designed for wet or dry use and rinse-and-reuse service to stretch the life of each pad.
- Wet or dry use on wood, paint, metal, plastic, and drywall
- Flexible foam core conforms to flat surfaces, edges, and contoured detail
- Rinse under water to clear loaded grit and return the pad to service
- Hand-friendly 4" x 2-7/8" x 1/2" pad fits the palm and works one-handed
- 100-grit aluminum oxide abrasive for general-purpose hand sanding
- Grit: 100
Role: 100 grit is the general-purpose middle of the line - aggressive enough to smooth rough bare wood after a saw cut and to scuff cured paint or primer between coats, fine enough that it does not leave deep scratch marks in softwood. Reach for it when you do not need the bite of 80 grit but you are not ready for the polish of 150 or 220.
Tip: Use the flat face of the pad on broad surfaces, then flex the pad over a finger or thumb to reach inside corners, mullions, and turned profiles. The same pad can clean up a drywall patch and then scuff the surrounding paint for a touch-up without changing tools.
