Finishes the raw edge of installed carpet at doorways and transitions to hard-surface flooring (vinyl, tile, hardwood, laminate). The fluted top surface adds underfoot traction and visually hides the seam where carpet meets the adjacent floor.

Installation Tip: Tuck the raw carpet edge under the open hem on the fluted side, then drive screw nails through the pre-drilled holes into the subfloor. For concrete subfloors, drill 1/4" pilot holes and set lead or plastic anchors. Cut to length with a fine-tooth hacksaw and dress the cut with a metal file.
