Selection Tip: Use for thin trim attached to studs - shoe molding, picture-frame moulding, and lattice. Reach for a 1-1/4" nail when the trim is thin (1/4" to 1/2") and you don't need deep penetration into framing.

Use Tip: Set nailer depth on a scrap of the same material first - 16-gauge nails leave noticeable holes if driven too proud, and they bend if driven too deep into hardwood. Aim for the head to sit just flush or about 1/32" below the surface, then fill with matching putty.
