Tip: Bright nails are for interior, dry-service framing. If the lumber is pressure-treated (ACQ, CA), exposed to weather, or installed within 18 inches of grade in many jurisdictions, switch to the hot-dip galvanized version of this nail - bright fasteners corrode rapidly in treated wood. Always cross-reference the connector manufacturer's spec sheet for the required nail diameter and length. Store sealed in a dry place; paper tape softens if wet.
