Use stainless worm-gear hose clamps (sold separately) over each barbed end for a sealed connection on drip, sprinkler, and well-water lines.

Tip: Stainless worm-gear clamps hold PE more reliably than spring-band clamps at this size step -- tighten just until the pipe wall puckers slightly under the band, no further, to avoid stress-cracking the PVC body.
