Use stainless worm-gear hose clamps (sold separately) over each barbed end for a sealed connection on drip, sprinkler, and well-water lines.

Tip: Warm the 1/2" pipe end in hot water for 10-20 seconds before pushing it onto the smaller barbs, then position the clamp band on the smooth pipe just past the last barb -- clamping directly over the ridges leaves gaps that weep under pressure.
