BOSTITCH PAPER TAPE RING SHANK FRAMING NAILS, GALVANIZED - 3" x .120"Paper-collated full-round-head framing nails for 30 to 34 degree paper-tape pneumatic and cordless framing nailers. Paper collation burns clean on the jobsite and leaves no plastic litter on the slab, and the offset full round head meets IRC requirements for structural framing in all regions.
- 3" length, .120" shank
- .120" ring shank (10d common-equivalent) for superior pull-out resistance
- Hot-dipped galvanized to ASTM A153 Class D -- rated for ACQ/MCQ pressure-treated lumber, exterior framing, deck framing, and roof or wall sheathing exposed to weather during construction
- Full round head, offset paper-tape collation (code-compliant for structural framing)
- Diamond point reduces splitting on dense or knotty lumber
- 30 to 34 degree paper tape; polymer top coat reduces jam in cordless framers
- 2,000 nails per box
- Bostitch part PT-10DR120GFH2
- Compatibility: Bostitch F33PT, N90PT, LPF33PT; Paslode F350-S; DeWalt DCN690/DWF83PT; Porter-Cable FR350B; Senco FramePro 701XP/702XP; Max SN890CH3.
Where to use 10d 3": Subfloor over 2x or I-joists in 5/8" to 3/4" OSB or plywood, shear-wall nailing patterns, and roof-deck attachment where the plan calls for ring-shank pull-out resistance against uplift or floor squeak. The galvanized coating handles ACQ/MCQ treated lumber and weather exposure during construction.
Tip: Run a depth test on a scrap of the actual framing stock before driving the first wall. Heads should sit flush to a hair below flush; over-driven heads in shear-wall and hold-down patterns can be cause for failed inspection.
