Charlotte Pipe Schedule 40 PVC cross fitting provides a four-way slip connection for PVC pressure piping. All four sockets accept standard Schedule 40 PVC pipe and bond with solvent cement for a permanent, leak-tight joint. Used wherever a branch line, main, or header needs to split in two perpendicular directions at the same point - irrigation manifolds, sprinkler header takeoffs, pool and spa plumbing, light commercial water service, and DIY drip system distribution headers.

Installation: Cut pipe ends square and deburr the inside and outside edges. Dry-fit and mark each socket for alignment. Apply purple primer to both surfaces, then solvent cement to both, push fully home with a 1/4-turn twist, and hold for 30 seconds. Cure 15-30 minutes before pressure testing in cool weather, 1 hour in cold. Below 40 degrees F, use cold-weather cement.
