Installation Tip: Slide the open flange around the pipe at the penetration, then press the two halves together until the hinge clicks closed. For a tighter hold on slightly oversized cutouts, a bead of clear silicone behind the flange where it meets the wall keeps it from rotating on the pipe and seals against splash at sink and tub penetrations.

Sizing Note: Split flanges are sized by nominal pipe size - the same way the pipe itself is sized. A 1/2" supply line takes a 1/2" flange. If the pipe was wrapped with insulation or rust-protection tape that increased its visible diameter, step up to the next size.
