Application Tip (12mm): Fits M8 reduced-head metric bolts (DIN 6921 flange head) and some small-engine hardware. Common on motorcycle frame bolts, smaller automotive accessories, and lawn-mower deck hardware where the bolt head is smaller than standard.

Tip: Use the 6-point socket on tight or partially-rounded fasteners where a 12-point would slip. Chrome (hand-tool) sockets like this one are designed for hand-ratchet use - for air or electric impact wrench work, switch to a black-oxide impact socket (chrome finish chips under impact loads).
