Tip: The 2" width is the workhorse seam tape - matches the typical longitudinal and transverse seams on small to mid-size residential rigid sheet-metal duct, fiberboard duct seams, and flexible duct collar wraps. Burnish the tape firmly with a plastic squeegee or stiff card after application; the adhesive only reaches full grab once it's pressed into intimate contact with the surface. Wipe ducts clean of oil and dust first - any contamination prevents the adhesive from forming a vapor-tight seal.
