Southwire Romex Brand SIMpull Type NM-B (nonmetallic-sheathed) cable for residential branch circuits. Stranded copper conductors insulated with PVC and a nylon sheath, inside a PVC jacket built with Southwire SIMpull Technology. Rated 600 volts; conductor insulation is rated 90 deg C per UL 719, with ampacity limited to the 60 deg C column of the National Electrical Code.

Tip: Typical use is 40 A four-wire 240 V circuits such as a modern electric range, where the neutral carries the appliance 120 V control circuit (NEC 250.140). Keep the inner bend radius at a minimum of 5x the cable diameter (about 2.9" here) so the jacket and insulation are not damaged. The individual conductors inside NM-B are not listed or marked as THHN and may not be installed apart from the complete cable.
