ANDERSON METALS LEAD FREE BRASS COMPRESSION CAP - 3/8"

Anderson Metals lead free brass compression cap seals the end of 3/8" copper or compatible tubing. Use it to terminate unused supply lines, blank off branch outlets during remodels, or temporarily isolate a run for pressure testing - all while staying compliant with the federal Safe Drinking Water Act.

• Fits 3/8" OD copper, brass, or soft aluminum tubing with a standard compression nut and sleeve (ferrule)
• Forged lead free brass body, meets Public Law 111-380 (less than 0.25 percent lead weighted average)
• Reusable seal - the ferrule deforms onto the tube but the cap can be removed and reinstalled with a fresh ferrule
• Rated for potable water, hydronic heating, instrument air, and most refrigeration lines
• Color: Brass

Tip: Slide the nut and ferrule onto the tubing in the correct orientation before threading on the cap. Hand-tighten the nut, then turn an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn with a wrench - over-tightening will distort the ferrule and ruin the seal.
