Ali Industries Gator 6218 is a single sheet of 24-grit (Extra Coarse) silicon carbide floor sanding sheets pre-cut for 12" x 18" orbital floor sanders. Standard fit for the U-Sand, Clarke, EZ8, American Sanders, and other rental orbital floor sanders. Silicon carbide cuts hardwood, softwood, and cured floor finishes faster and cleaner than aluminum oxide.

Use Tip: 24 grit removes fast but leaves deep scratches -- step through 36 or 40 before finer grits. On old floors, one 24-grit pass usually strips paint or urethane in a single cut.

Care Tip: Keep the peel-off backing dry until you're ready to apply -- moisture weakens the adhesive. Between grit changes, blow dust off the sander pad so the next sheet seats flat and doesn't tear at the corners.
