The L-shaped profile tucks under the last row of tile during setting; the bullnose return covers and protects the raw cut edge of the tile.

Installation Tip: Trowel thinset over the substrate and embed the perforated flange of the profile under the tile field before setting the last row of tile. Press the tile firmly down so the bullnose return sits tight against the tile edge, then grout the joint between tile and profile as you would any standard grout line.

Height match Tip: The trim height should equal the tile thickness PLUS the thinset bed (typically 1/8" - 3/16"). If the tile + thinset stack is closer to 7/16", step down to the 3/8" profile; if closer to 9/16", this 1/2" profile leaves room for a generous thinset bed under large-format or stone tile.
