Clear interior shrink-film insulation kit sized for sliding patio doors. The film mounts to the door trim with the included double-sided tape, then shrinks tight with a household hair dryer to a wrinkle-free, see-through finish. The trapped air pocket between the film and the glass cuts cold-air infiltration, knocks down condensation and frost on the door, and adds insulating value across a large pane of glass that is often the single biggest cold spot in the room.

Installation: Wipe the trim around the entire door frame, press the tape around the full perimeter, peel the tape backing, and stick the film to the tape leaving a slight overlap on all sides. Run a hair dryer in slow passes a few inches off the surface; the film pulls taut as it heats. Trim the excess with a sharp knife.

Tip: A patio door film locks the door closed for the season - mount it on a door you are not planning to use until spring (typically the back slider when there is also a front door). Two people make the install much easier on this size; one holds the corner while the other works the tape and film along the length.
