Use Tip: Start the tool before contact, apply light pressure, and rock the blade slightly to clear chips. For plunge starts, tilt the corner of the blade into the work and pivot it flat once the cut opens.

Care Tip: Wire-brush teeth between cuts to clear pitch and nail debris. Retire each blade when the cutting edge turns blue or the curve flattens out -- continuing past that point loads the tool's gearbox.

Note: HSS bi-metal is not rated for masonry, cast iron, or hardened screws. Step up to carbide-grit or diamond-grit blades for those materials.
