Heavy-duty gray Schedule 80 PVC threaded elbow for changing direction 90 degrees in a pressure piping run. Female pipe thread (FPT) on both ends accepts standard NPT male-threaded pipe for a secure, pressure-rated, leak-resistant connection without solvent welding.

Tip: Apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE thread tape or a PVC-compatible thread sealant (no petroleum-based pipe dope) to the male threads. Hand-tighten plus 1-2 wrench turns -- over-torquing splits the female socket. Never solvent-weld inside the female threads of this fitting.
