A barbed insert-to-Male NPT adapter used to terminate flexible polyethylene (PE) pipe into any female-threaded fitting, valve, or pump port. The barbed insert end accepts 1-1/4" polyethylene tubing; threaded end is a 1-1/2" Male NPT. Common in residential irrigation, well-service lines, sprinkler manifolds, and low-pressure agricultural water systems.

Installation Tip: Warm the end of the poly pipe in hot water for 15-20 seconds before pushing the barbed adapter in - the pipe slides on cleanly and seals tighter as it cools around the barbs. Finish with a stainless or coated worm-gear clamp positioned squarely over the barb section, not behind it. Use PTFE tape on the MPT threads when joining to a metal fitting.
