Selection Tip: Measure the straight-line distance from the center of the angle stop to the center of the faucet shank and add 2" to 3" of slack so the line bends without kinking at either nut. A line pulled taut to make up a short distance will fatigue at the ferrule.

Installation Tip: Hand-tighten the 3/8" compression nut, then snug 1/8 to 1/4 turn with a wrench. The 1/2" IPS end with the captive gasket usually only needs hand-tight plus a quarter turn -- overtightening can split the urethane core under the nut.
