GARAGE DOOR HINGE, GALVANIZED STEEL - #1Replace a broken, rusted, or noisy hinge on a standard residential sectional garage door with this 14-gauge galvanized steel hinge from PrimeLine. The #1 hinge is the flat-strap position used between the 1st and 2nd door sections (counted from the bottom), and it is also the correct hinge for the horizontal center seam of any panel.
- Position: #1 (between 1st and 2nd sections, also used at panel center seams)
- 14-gauge galvanized steel for corrosion resistance and long service life
- Roller tube accepts standard 7/16" diameter stem roller (sold separately)
- 3" width across the roller spindle tube
- Pancake head carriage bolts and nuts included for direct replacement
- Fits most major residential sectional door brands
Tip: Garage door hinges are numbered by stem offset, not size. The #1 is flat, and #2 / #3 / #4 step the roller progressively outward to match the curve of the horizontal track as the door rolls up. Always replace a hinge with the same number that was removed, and always disconnect the opener (and never work on a door with a broken spring) before swapping hinges.
