White virgin PTFE thread seal tape (Teflon tape) for sealing tapered pipe threads on plumbing, gas, and industrial connections. Wraps onto male threads and conforms under joint compression to fill the helical leak path between mating threads.

Tip: 1/2" width is the homeowner standard for water-supply threaded joints. 520" (about 43 Ft) is the contractor-pack length - twice the footage of the standard pocket roll, the right size for a whole-house re-plumb or a job-tote restock. Wrap 3 to 5 turns clockwise around the male threads in the direction the fitting tightens.
