RECIPROCATING SAW BLADE, CARBIDE GRIT - 12"

The Century Drill & Tool 12" carbide grit reciprocating saw blade cuts ceramic tile, cast iron, thin masonry, stone, slate, marble, and fiberglass without the teeth a toothed blade would shed in those materials. Tungsten carbide grit is bonded continuously along the alloy steel back, so there is no tooth set to wear out or resharpen - the blade keeps cutting until the grit is worn down.

  • 12" blade length, 3/4" width x 0.050" thickness
  • 1/2" universal tang fits all standard reciprocating saws (Milwaukee Sawzall, DeWalt, Makita, Ridgid, Ryobi, etc.)
  • Tungsten carbide grit edge - no teeth to break, set, or resharpen
  • Cuts ceramic tile, cast iron, thin masonry, stone, slate, marble, and fiberglass
  • Sold one blade per pack

Best For: Maximum-reach cuts in thick masonry, stone slab, and large-diameter cast iron pipe. Best paired with a corded or high-amp cordless saw, since the longer stroke needed to clear the cut draws more current than shorter blades.

Use Tip: Run the saw at a lower stroke speed for ceramic and tile to keep the material from cracking, and let the carbide grit grind its way through - pushing hard chips the carbide off the back. A trickle of water or light cutting oil on cast iron and stone keeps the blade cooler and noticeably extends life.
