MAZEL NEOPRENE WASHER NAILS, GALVANIZED - 1-1/2"Electro-galvanized roofing and siding nails with a built-in neoprene washer under the head. When driven flush, the washer compresses against the panel surface and seals the nail hole against water, which is critical on corrugated metal roofing, fiber cement panel siding, and any exterior surface where a leak at the fastener would track inside. The checker head and ring shank work together for high pull-out resistance on wind-loaded panels.
- 1-1/2" nail length
- Electro-galvanized steel for outdoor corrosion resistance
- Checker head plus ring shank for high pull-out resistance
- Bonded neoprene washer creates a weather-tight seal at every fastener
- 50 lb bulk box
Best for: 1-1/2" suits thinner overlays - lower-profile corrugated panels, thin fiber cement siding, or applications where the substrate behind the panel is only 3/4"-1" thick and a 1-3/4" nail would punch out the back. 50 lb bulk pack handles full-building runs.
Tip: Drive on the high crown of a corrugation (never in the low valley where water collects) and stop the moment the washer is just compressed against the panel - overdriving cracks the neoprene and ruins the seal. If the head sits proud, the washer hasn't sealed; if the washer balloons out the sides, you've gone too far.
