Schedule 40 PVC reducing male adapter that transitions a 1-1/2" slip (socket) connection to a 2" male pipe thread (MPT). Used to join PVC pressure pipe to threaded fittings, valves, or equipment where the connection size changes.

Apply PTFE thread tape or pipe thread sealant to the male threads before assembly. The slip end accepts standard Schedule 40 PVC pipe with solvent-weld cement.
