CHARLOTTE PIPE SCH 40 PVC REDUCING TEE - 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1"

Creates a 90-degree branch off a main PVC run while stepping the branch down to a smaller pipe. The two run sockets accept 1-1/2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe; the branch socket accepts 1".

  • 1-1/2" Slip x 1-1/2" Slip run with 1" Slip branch -- one piece replaces a tee plus a separate bushing
  • Solid white PVC, made in USA
  • Manufactured to ASTM D2466 (Schedule 40 PVC pressure fittings)
  • Solvent-weld installation: PVC primer plus PVC cement (purple primer required for code-compliant joints)
  • For cold-water plumbing, irrigation lines, pool/spa plumbing, and general PVC piping

Tip: Deburr the pipe ends and chamfer the OD, apply primer to both surfaces, then cement and give a 1/4 turn to seat. Hold for about 30 seconds.
