Tip: Size a sump pump by the lift it actually has to make, not by horsepower alone. Measure from the pump up to the height of the discharge line and read the flow at that height - this one moves 3137 GPH at zero lift but 2366 GPH at 10 feet. Check that the basin is at least 14" across so the tethered float has room to swing freely.
