A grooved teardrop thimble that protects the inside of a wire rope or cable loop against wear, crushing, and abrasion where the rope passes around a shackle, hook, or hardware. Sized for 1/4" diameter wire rope or cable; the rope wraps the groove and the loop is held closed with a clip or swage sleeve.
