Bulls Eye Shellac is a shellac-based sealer designed to give wood a natural looking, mid-gloss finish that will not yellow or darken with age. Apply several light coats with a brush, pad or lint-free wiping cloth, letting each coat dry about an hour before sanding lightly with 220 grit or finer sandpaper and recoating.

• Mid-tone sheen; will not darken with age
• For interior walls, doors, trim, cabinets, furniture and related paintable surfaces
• Suitable for new and previously painted drywall, cured plaster, wood (pine, fir, cedar, redwood, plywood), metal, and cured masonry (stucco, concrete block, poured concrete, brick); it will also adhere to glass and ceramic tile
• Blocks all odors in wood, plaster, drywall and masonry - two full coats seal odors
• Apply one or two coats to knots and sap streaks to keep them from bleeding into the paint finish
• Also works as a protective sealer for tools, golf clubs, wood toys and similar items
• Dries to the touch in 30 minutes and can be recoated in less than 1 hour
• Dried film is non-toxic and hypo-allergenic
• MPI #36 and #88 certified
• Clean up wet tools, drips and spills with denatured alcohol or household ammonia and water
• Stir well before use; do not thin. Apply only when air, material and surface temperatures are between 0 and 90 deg F and relative humidity is below 85%
• Can be tinted with up to 1.5 oz of universal colorant per quart

Important: Bulls Eye Shellac is not recommended for use as a sealer under polyurethane. When sealing wood under a polyurethane finish, use Zinsser Bulls Eye SealCoat instead. If the surface is going to be painted, use B-I-N Primer-Sealer.
