Connect PEX-A tubing to threaded male pipe fittings with this JMF cold expansion male adapter. Built to the ASTM F1960 standard for permanent, leak-free expansion-style PEX connections, the brass body provides a corrosion-resistant transition between 1/2" PEX-A and 1/2" MNPT.

Tip: Slide an expansion ring over the PEX, expand the tubing and ring together with an F1960 expansion tool, then push the assembly fully onto the adapter's ribbed end. The pipe contracts within seconds to form a permanent joint.
