Non-metallic conduit body for PVC electrical conduit runs that need a 90-degree direction change with a pull point. The "LR" form factor has the access cover on the front face and the second hub turning to the right - used when a conduit run needs to turn right and still leave a service-accessible opening for pulling wire.

How to choose: LR turns the run 90 degrees to the right when you face the cover. For a left turn use Type LL; for a back-of-cover branch use Type LB; for a straight pull point use Type C; for a tee branch use Type T. The pulling access through the cover is the main reason to use a conduit body instead of a sweep elbow.

Tip: Use PVC primer and solvent cement on both the conduit end and the hub socket, push fully home with a quarter turn, and hold for 30 seconds. Do not load the body with wire until the cement has cured (typically 30 minutes at room temperature). The included gasket and cover make the body weatherproof for outdoor runs - check the gasket sits flat before tightening the cover screws.
