The Linzer Impact series is a handcrafted poly/bristle blend varnish brush built for a smooth, brush-mark-free finish on stains, varnishes, polyurethanes, and enamels. Polyester filaments add stiffness and snap-back so the brush keeps its shape through long sessions, while natural China bristle holds more material between dips and releases it evenly across the work. The chiseled flat-cut trim lays off oil-based and water-based finishes cleanly and cuts in straight lines along trim, sashes, and panel edges. Works on both interior and exterior projects.

Sizing Tip: 1" and 1-1/2" for sashes, mullions, and tight trim work; 2" for general trim, doors, and shutters; 2-1/2" and 3" for larger flat surfaces like cabinet panels, paneling, and furniture tops where coverage and smooth lay-off matter most.

Care Tip: Clean with mineral spirits or paint thinner after oil-based coatings, or with warm soapy water after water-based coatings. Comb out bristles, wrap the head in its original keeper or paper to preserve the chiseled edge, and hang to dry to prevent set on the heel.
