FROGTAPE PRO GRADE FLASHING TAPE - 3-3/4" X 75 FTFrogTape Pro Grade Flashing Tape is a self-adhered, all-weather membrane used to seal the rough openings around windows, doors, penetrations, and sheathing seams in residential and commercial building envelopes. The conformable film backing bends and stretches around sills, jambs, head flashings, and inside or outside corners without cracking, while the ShurGRIP solventless acrylic adhesive builds bond strength continuously after install and resists cold-flow and edge-curl over the life of the wall.
- Roll size: 3-3/4" x 75 Ft
- Color: Black
- ShurGRIP solventless acrylic adhesive for aggressive, long-term hold
- Conformable film backing wraps tight to corners, transitions, and curved surfaces
- UV-curing chemistry continues to build adhesion after install
- Meets AAMA 711-22 specification for self-adhered flashing
- Compatible with most housewraps, sheathing membranes, OSB, plywood, vinyl, and aluminum window flanges
- Works with most pan-flashing details and recommended best practices for water-managed wall assemblies
Selection Tip: Use 3-3/4" wide rolls for sill pans and standard nail-fin window jambs and heads on residential framing. Step up to 6" wide for wide flanges, head flashings that overlap housewrap, and most commercial punched-opening details. 9" and 12" widths are sized for door sills, larger commercial openings, sheathing joint sealing, and one-pass pan flashings on extra-thick walls.
Application Tip: Apply to clean, dry surfaces above 25 deg F. Press the tape down firmly with a J-roller or plastic squeegee to seat the adhesive and chase out air pockets, especially at corners and over fasteners. Shingle-lap upper courses over lower courses so water sheds outward, and integrate with the weather-resistive barrier per the WRB manufacturer's instructions.
Note: Cover with cladding or another UV-protective layer within the manufacturer's exposure window. Not intended as a long-term exposed roofing material. Store rolls upright in a cool, dry place; let cold rolls warm to room temperature before unrolling for best initial tack.
