Phillips kwikSTIK P1 Super Wide outside corner bead pairs a galvanized steel nose with high-strength paper flanges that are wider than a standard bead, so the compound feathers out over more surface and the corner reads flatter. It tapes on with compound instead of fasteners, which takes nail pops and edge cracking out of the picture. Sold by the carton of 50 sticks (500 linear feet).

• Wider flanges for more complete coverage and a flatter finish
• Rust-resistant galvanized steel core
• High-strength paper facing prevents coat bleed-through
• Perforated for joint compound anchoring - 30% more mud anchors per square inch
• Tape-on design means no nail pops and no edge cracking
• Complies with ASTM C1047
• 50 pieces per carton, 500 feet per carton
• Size: 1-1/3" x 10'

Tip: Embed the bead in a full bed of compound and wipe the flanges tight - a dry flange is what blisters later.
