This 4" ABS cleanout plug threads into an ABS DWV cleanout fitting to seal a 4" main sewer line access. Standard 4" cleanouts sit at the base of stacks or on horizontal building drains, and this plug is the removable closure that keeps sewer gas contained while allowing rodding when needed.

Tip: Apply PTFE thread tape to the plug threads before installation for a leak-tight seal. ABS threads will not seize like brass or galvanized fittings, so the plug remains removable years later.
