Anderson Metals lead-free brass swivel connector joins two 5/8" SAE 45-degree flare tubing ends. The two-piece swivel design lets you make up the joint without twisting the tubing, so soft copper and aluminum runs stay kink-free during assembly.

Selection Tip: Size by tubing OD, not nominal pipe size. SAE 45-degree flare is the standard for residential gas and HVAC/refrigeration -- do not mix with 37-degree (AN/JIC) flare hardware. The two seats will not seal against each other.

Installation Tip: Cut tubing square, deburr ID and OD, slide each flare nut on before flaring, then form a clean 45-degree flare with a yoke-style flare tool (no oil or pipe dope on the seat). Hand-thread the connector body into each nut, then snug with a flare-nut wrench -- 1/4 to 1/2 turn past hand-tight is enough. Over-torquing splits the flare and crushes the seat.
