Schedule 80 PVC male adapter transitions from solvent-welded PVC pipe to a female-threaded receptacle - one end is a slip socket for cementing onto Schedule 80 or Schedule 40 PVC pipe, the other end is external MPT (Male Pipe Thread, NPT) for screwing into a tank fitting, faucet body, threaded tee branch, or other female-threaded port.
