SOFT COPPER TUBING COIL - 1/4" x 50 FtSoft (annealed) refrigeration-grade copper tubing in a 50-foot coil. Bend by hand to route under cabinets, behind appliances, and through joist bays without crimping. The standard 1/4" OD line for refrigerator ice makers, water dispensers, humidifiers, and other low-pressure water and refrigerant connections.
- Outside diameter: 1/4" (the dimension that matches 1/4" compression and flare fittings)
- Length: 50 feet, coiled for easy uncoiling and routing
- Soft temper / annealed copper - bends by hand around obstacles without a tubing bender
- Compatible with standard 1/4" compression fittings (most common for ice makers) and 1/4" SAE 45-degree flare fittings
- Lead-free copper - approved for potable water supply
- Coil ships flattened for shipping; uncoils smoothly when needed
Sizing Tip for Ice Maker Lines: Measure the run from the cold-water shutoff valve to the back of the refrigerator and add 6-8 feet of slack so the fridge can be pulled out for cleaning and service without disconnecting the line. A typical kitchen install needs 15-25 feet end-to-end.
Installation Tip: Use a tubing cutter (not a hacksaw) for a clean, square cut, and ream the inside burr before flaring or installing the compression sleeve. Make gentle, wide bends - kinked copper restricts flow and is hard to repair. Anchor the line where it crosses framing so vibration doesn't work-harden it.
