OATEY MASTERFLASH UNIVERSAL ROOF PIPE FLASHING - 3" to 6" PIPE

Oatey Masterflash universal roof pipe flashing with a malleable aluminum base and an EPDM rubber boot that trims to fit a range of pipe diameters. Distinct from Oatey's fixed-diameter No-Calk roof flashing (which has a specific molded collar size for one pipe), Masterflash is the universal-fit version - cut the boot at the size mark matching your pipe, and the aluminum base bends to follow ANY roof pitch and profile (asphalt shingle, standing-seam metal, ribbed metal, tile). The EPDM boot is rated for 212 F continuous service, making it the right pick for Type B gas vent installations as well as plumbing stack vents.

  • Pipe size range: 3" to 6" diameter (trim boot to size at the molded ring marks)
  • Base size: 10" x 10" malleable aluminum (bends to ANY roof pitch / profile)
  • Boot material: EPDM rubber, 212 F continuous service rating
  • Approved for Type B gas vent installations
  • Engineered for shingle, metal, tile, and profiled roofing systems at any pitch
  • Base color: Mill aluminum (can be paint-overcoated to match shingle / metal color)
  • Reusable cut-ring boot marks for multiple pipe sizes within the range
  • Installs over a roof penetration with sheet metal screws or roofing nails on the upslope edges, sealed with roofing cement

Tip: The 3" to 6" range fits the standard residential and light commercial Type B gas furnace and water heater vent stacks (3" and 4" Type B), 4" plumbing waste stacks on multi-bath homes, 4" and 5" wood stove flue pipe, and 5" - 6" commercial cooktop and dryer vent stacks. For smaller plumbing vents (1-1/2" to 3") choose the 1/4" - 4" Masterflash (model 14052) or one of the Oatey No-Calk fixed-diameter flashings for a cleaner factory-formed collar. Install with the long base edge on the upslope side, weaving the upslope into the next shingle course; never face-nail through the downslope edge.
