Care Tip: Apply varnish in thin coats and brush with the grain for the cleanest finish. Clean with mineral spirits or paint thinner after oil-based coatings, or warm soapy water after water-based coatings. Comb out bristles, wrap the head in its keeper or paper to preserve the chiseled edge, and hang to dry to prevent set on the heel.
