Male-threaded compression adapter for joining or repairing galvanized steel and plastic water lines without cutting threads. Slip the pipe end into the compression nut, tighten, and the rubber gasket grips and seals against the pipe OD - no soldering, gluing, or special tools required.

• One end: compression (fits 2" galvanized or plastic pipe)
• Other end: male NPT threads
• PVC body and compression nut with rubber gasket
• Pressure rated to 150 PSI at 73 degrees F (cold water only)

Tip: The line must be mechanically restrained on both sides of the joint - a compression fitting holds the seal, not the pipe against pull-out. Strap or clamp the pipe before pressurizing. Cold water service only; do not use on hot water, steam, or compressed air.
