This Anderson Metals Class 150 Type 304 stainless steel hex bushing reduces a 1/2" port down to 3/8" pipe. The 1/2" end is male and threads into the larger female port; the 3/8" end is female and accepts the smaller pipe or fitting. Stainless steel threaded fittings are excellent for uses that involve chemicals or liquids that may be corrosive, and a stainless fitting also helps prevent contamination of what is flowing through the line.
