Selection Tip: Liquid service only. Do not use on compressed air, gas, steam, or anywhere a brittle failure could become a projectile -- a metal plug is the right choice for those lines.

Installation Tip: Wrap two to three turns of PTFE tape on the male threads, hand-thread until snug, then wrench-tighten an additional one-half to three-quarter turn. Nylon threads strip easily -- stop as soon as the hex shoulders against the fitting; do not over-torque.
